Clarkia unguiculata Elegant fairyfan

Formerly known as Clarkia elegans. Native to California, this annual flower is grown easily throughout the United States. It is most commonly found on dry, often shaded slopes below 5,000 ft. elevation. Long lavender pink to salmon or purplish or dark red-purple petals blooms from May to July. Prefers full sun but will tolerate shade. Avoid heavy clay soils.
