Golden dyssodia

Formerly known as Dyssodia pentachaeta. Small, deciduous sub-shrub resembling Thymophylla acerosa but shorter lived. Bright yellow daisy like flowers bloom April to October on dry slopes and mesas between 2,500 and 4,500 ft. elevation. Little forage value. Golden dyssodia draws butterflies and is attractive in desert landscapes.
