Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus Douglas (or Low) rabbitbrush

Small deciduous shrub, 1 to 3 ½ ft. tall, adapted to all soil textures in drainages, flats and on slopes from 2,600 to 11,000 ft. elevation. Aggressive native species that has little forage value but is useful as a pioneer species for revegetating disturbed areas.
