AEC Premier Straw/Coconut FibreNet erosion control blanket (ECB) consists of a blend of 70%
straw and 30% coconut fibers. The straw fibers used in the product are the finest available agricultural straw with 75% four-inch fibers or greater fiber length, and are certified weed seed free. The blended fibers are evenly distributed throughout the entire area of the blanket. The top and bottom of each blanket is covered with 100% biodegradable jute netting. The product is 100% biodegradable. AEC Premier Straw/Coconut FibreNet shall be manufactured in the U.S.A.
AEC Premier Straw/Coconut FibreNet has a design soil loss ratio (event-based RUSLE C factor) of .15 and is typically suitable for slopes up to 1.5H:1V. AEC Premier Straw/Coconut FibreNet
is rated for channel flows up to 8.5 ft/s (2.6 m/s) and 2.0 lb/ft 2(96 Pa) shear stress.
