Thinopyrum intermedium ssp. barbulatum Pubescent wheatgrass

Formerly known as Agropyron trichophorum and as Elytrigia intermedia ssp. trichophorum. Cool season, robust, drought tolerant, strongly rhizomatous, long-lived sod-forming grass. Similar to Thinopyrum intermedium but more tolerant of drought, lower soil fertility, higher alkalinity and higher elevations.
