Custom seed blending is Granite Seed Company’s specialty. We will gladly custom mix seed to your specifications. Usually, there is no additional charge. Special handling charges may be assessed for small, time-consuming orders, and custom mixes cannot be returned.

Once Granite Seed blends seed types to your specifications, they cannot be returned. The reason for this policy is that once a seed is blended, it is virtually impossible to separate the blend back into individual seed types. Furthermore, seed blends are designed for specific projects. It is very difficult to use a blend of seed species on other projects because projects are usually located in different plant communities and frequently are designed to meet differing objectives.

Therefore, if you are not certain of the blend of seed you want, then ask for the components as separate items. Granite Seed will gladly restock separate seed lots for a small restocking charge, but we cannot accept the return of blended seed.
